Woodworking projects come in two forms and are designed to give you the benefit of achieving something you want whilst also learning on the job.
First up are the woodwork projects we’ve put up:

* The Live Edge Boot Bench
These are designed to give you as much bang for your buck as possible – in terms of time on the tools/machines and the overall appreciation of the making process – whilst also giving you a useful product at the end of it, that you will be very proud of I’m sure.
These projects do change, disappear and reappear from time to time so keep your eyes keenly peeled.
I’m also a big fan of hearing what you have to say, so if there is something out there you’d love to see as one of the Woodworking Projects then drop me a line. And you never know, we could bring it to fruition and make you famous!
Second up are the bespoke Woodoworking Projects. These are really popular and are a great way of you getting something done for you personally whilst learning as we go. We’ve had people come in and make allsorts, solid oak dining tables, Welsh dressers, storage units, coffee tables, shoe racks, vanity units, you name it and folks want to come and make it.
Each case is worked out individually and on it’s own merit, and it’s much more financially beneficial if you can come in when others are in the shop too, and people seem to get more from the experience that way anyhow. So there is no fixed price for this and it all starts with a phone call. Below are just a few exmples of how it may go down:
* ‘Hi, I want to come in and make X with you guys, I work, have kids but really want to get involved in the making of X from start to finish.
No problem, we’ll fix up a price, fix up a plan of attack with how long it’ll take and when we can get you in. Don’t stress if life gets in the way, we’ll sort it.
* Hi, I’ve designed X for my daughter and would really like to make it myself and I’m not sure where to start.
Okey dokey, no problem. Let’s have a chat about your experience, when you can come in, how much one-on-one versus time unsupervised you’ll need and we’ll work out a price and time plan to get your daughter sorted with the gift of a lifetime.
* Hey Rich, listen chap, I’m minted and want the shop and one-on-one supervision for as long as it takes to get my project sorted all to myself. That ok?
