This is for those who really want to get their teeth stuck into a more in-depth course. Held over four days we take this one from scratch with no prep from me. We choose our timber carefully, take it from rough stock to finish size on the shop machines. Layout as per our drawings and get cracking with the hand tools. There will be a limit of three people on this course at any time. -

A little more traditional than #1, but a super piece to make nonetheless. A lot of students go on to use this as a Memory Box. Held over two days and with focus on accuracy with this one we get to use some of the shop machines before laying out and starting on the hand tools – the good stuff. -

Come and join us for a no-holds-barred hand tool day. This is where the good stuff is, once we can use hand tools properly the world’s our lobster. Your day will start with the obligatory cuppa and chat, and once we have all got to know one another we’ll get straight into it.
